Mohamad Elwishy is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Psychology Department. He studied post-graduate and earned a diploma of Clinical Psychology, currently doing his MA in psychology department, the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University.
He started practicing psychotherapy in Rakhawy hospital for mental health and addiction treatment under the supervision of Dr Yehia El-Rakhawy, as well as a lot of scientific communities under the supervision of eminent professors.
In addition to the special care and interest in treating personality disorders, sexual disorders, and traumas, he prefers integrative psychotherapy, with a greater interest in Psycho-dynamic process in psychotherapy and dialectical behavior direction.
He currently works as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist: in Institute of Psychiatry, Ain Shams University, St. Andrew’s Refugee Services for therapeutic assistance to refugees, and in Prof-Dr Yehia El-Rakhawy ,Prof-Dr Samir Abou Elmagd and Prof-Dr Mona Reda’s clinic in which he offers individual and group therapy.
He gave a number of lectures on psychotherapy in the first and second conference of the Egyptian association of sexual medicine and surgery, and in workshops in many entities belonging to World Health Organization and Ain Shams University.
Mohamad is an active member in many scientific associations e.g: International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), The Egyptian Association for Group Therapies and processes (EAGT), and The Egyptian Psychological Association (EPA)
