Professor George Tadros is interested in the utilization of new technology in mental health.
He pioneered a new model of Liaison Psychiatry that is known as RAID (Rapid Assessment and Interfaced Discharge).
He established its academic infrastructure and clinical pathways, which are now implemented in 27 NHS Trusts around UK. He established the National RAID Network that has more than 600 members to spread good clinical practice in Liaison Psychiatry. His model has been recommended for the commissioning of Liaison Psychiatry and used as the benchmark for good practice by the Faculty of Liaison Psychiatry. He has been very active in developing and delivering multidisciplinary teaching courses including his new course 7D that has been approved by the West Midlands Deanery.
